Children can transfer to Southwater Junior School from Southwater Infants at the end of the school year during which they reach seven, although there is no automatic right to transfer and places are allocated according to the current W.S.C.C. admissions criteria. Children can also transfer from any other school, at any age between seven and eleven, if there are spaces available. For families moving into the area places (if available) can only be granted on confirmation of residency. Preliminary visits to the school by prospective parents and children are welcomed and can be arranged by telephoning the school office on 01403 730475.
