At Southwater Junior school we expect all children to wear school uniform.

It is one way in which they can have a sense of identity and belonging.

We ask that all items are clearly named.

	Winter Either White or grey shirt or blouse, red tie with grey stripes and a red jumper or cardigan.   White polo shirt with red sweatshirt. Grey pinafore dress, black or grey skirt, trousers or culottes. Black, grey or white socks/tights
	Summer Either As above plus Grey shorts   As above plus red and white checked or striped dresses.
	Shoes Black, brown, grey (white in summer) sensible, suitable shoes. No trainers.
	Jewellery Not allowed except - earrings - one pair of flat stud earrings.
	Watches No Alarms
	N.B. NO JEWELLERY OF ANY KIND SHOULD BE WORN DURING P.E. OR ANY OTHER ORGANISED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
	P.E. Kit Red, yellow, blue or green T-shirt White sports shorts - no Bermudas. Plimsolls (indoor/outdoor), trainers (outdoors.) Red or red & black rugby shirt Black jogging bottoms P.E. bag. (Plastic bags are unsuitable as they split.)
	Art/Craft Aprons or old shirt. (The more they cover the better!)
